Two gulls have moved aboard and nothing we can do, short of wringing their necks, will make them go away. They are crapping all over the deck. Everything is good on Lone Wolf. The sea is eerily calm and deep blue, and all systems are go. We have covered 900 miles, with another 1800 to go. The fishing has been less successful, but we live in hope. We can catch the buggers ok, but they keep escaping off the hook just as we are trying to land them. I just saw a pod of dolphins, it was most edifying. So much so, in fact, that I was inspired to attack the gulls with a broom. I don’t think they’ll be back.
